CRAGGEN cannot contact emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number — emergency calls can use any available network, so try even when you have no bars. In the UK you can also register for 999 by text at emergencysms.net.

You can also report and block anyone directly in the app: open WHO on the channel screen. Reporting mutes them for you immediately. Reports about risk to a child are read first.

What we do and don't hold is short — read the privacy policy. The short version: no account, no tracking in the app, and your voice is never recorded on our servers.
Common questions
Does everyone need the app? Everyone in your group needs CRAGGEN installed and a working data connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi).
Does it work with the screen off? Yes — join a channel and pocket the phone. The notification shows that CRAGGEN is running.
How do private channels work? Tap "Create a new private code" for a random four-word code, add a PIN if you want an extra lock. Without a PIN, the code is enough to join; with a PIN, a new participant needs both. Share them only with your group.
Is it really free? Joining any channel you are invited to is always free. Free also hosts one channel for up to six people. Pro hosts up to 16; Crew hosts up to 40 and adds multi-channel monitoring. Compare the plans.
Do Bluetooth and wired headsets work? Yes. Pair a Bluetooth earpiece or headset in Android settings, or plug in a wired headset with an inline microphone. Headset audio is free. For a compatible Pryme-style physical PTT button, open CRAGGEN's menu and choose Pair a button; button control is a Pro and Crew feature, and you should test the exact accessory and phone before operational use.
Is replay a server recording? No. Pro and Crew can replay only the last message received by that phone. It is held temporarily in phone memory, replaced by the next received message and removed when the user leaves; our server stores no audio copy.
